Biography for Richard Taubman
I have been practicing law in Michigan for 38 years, with a concentration in real estate. I am "AV” rated and have extensive experience in zoning and land development and use, residential and commercial construction, condominiums, boundary and other title disputes, water rights, commercial and residential landlord-tenant law, mortgages, land contracts and other transaction documents.
I received my law degree from Boston University School of Law, after completing my undergraduate work at the University of Michigan. I am the owner of Taubman Law, PLLC in Bingham Farms and I am of counsel to Payne, Broder & Fossee, P.C. I also own Taubman Residential, LLC, a real estate brokerage.
I am a member of the Master Lawyers and Real Property Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. I serve on the Zoning and Land Use Committee of the Real Property Law Section. I am also member of the Community Associations Institute, the Michigan Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®
